Wayne Emerson Gregory Jr. works as a nurse in Greenville, South Carolina.

Wayne Emerson Gregory Jr. is a licensed nurse, practicing in South Carolina. Prior to nursing, Gregory had a successful career in the project management field. Gregory earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Government and Political Science from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. Additionally, Wayne holds a Master’s degree in Public Education from Clemson University.  As if that were not enough, Gregory Jr. recently pursued his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. 

Gregory Jr. works as the owner of Gregory Equipment Sales in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This is a role Wayne has held since 2014 and still holds. Gregory sells industrial equipment, develops business leads, manages marketing campaigns and more! Wayne also handles the online sales of factory machinery,  shows industrial machinery to prospective customers,  and processes payments of funds and ships machinery to buyers. Wayne Emerson Gregory Jr. finds great joy in this role, but is also looking forward to his career in healthcare. 

Prior to owning his own business, Wayne Emerson Gregory Jr. served as the Economic Development Project Manager for the City of Columbia in South Carolina. In  this role, Wayne served as the city’s contact for  any business development plans, developed marketing strategies and materials, calculated tax rates, prepared reports and much, much more. Emerson Gregory Jr. learned the skills necessary to fulfill this position through his position as Project Manager with Greenville Area Development Corporation in Greenville, South Carolina. Wayne held this position from 2002 to 2013. 

Wayne Emerson Gregory Jr. is a Board Member of  the Columbia Chamber of Commerce, the Food Bank Board, Richland County United Way, South Carolina Developers’ Association, the Internal Economic Developers’ Council and the Workforce Investment Board.

Beyond Wayne Emerson Gregory Jr.’s professional pursuits, he is extremely passionate about sports. In particular, Wayne has always had a love for football.

Wayne Emerson Gregory Jr. was an active member of the football and baseball teams while in high school. Growing up in South Carolina, Gregory Jr. was a fan of the South Carolina Gamecocks, and even attended several games as a child. Gregory Jr. says that sports remain a large part of his life to this day. He draws parallels between the competitive mindset that sports requires and nursing.

When Gregory Jr. is not watching or playing sports, he is actively seeking his Bachelors of Science in Nursing. After spending an entire career working in project management, Wayne finds nursing to be a breath of fresh air. He is extremely passionate about providing the best possible care to every patient he encounters.
